USGBC developed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) green building rating system and works to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work.
Texas Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Program
The goal of the Texas HUB program is to encourage and effectively promote the use of minority and woman-owned businesses. The Texas Legislature requires all state agencies to make a good faith effort to assist HUBs in receiving a portion of the total procurement contract value of all contracts that the agency expects to award in a fiscal year.
