Associated Air Balance Council (AABC)

The Associated Air Balance Council (AABC) is an association of qualified, independent test and balance agencies. Established in the 1960s, AABC recognized the valuable role of testing and balancing professionals in energy efficient HVAC systems/buildings. 

 

AABC Commissioning Group (ACG)

The AABC Commissioning Group (ACG) is a non-profit association of certified commissioning authorities dedicated to providing professional, independent commissioning services. 

Universal Commissioning Group (UCxG) was created for the purpose of assisting Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Contractors in the construction of industrial and commercial heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems that meet design specifications and satisfy owner’s requirements and intent. 

 

U.S. Green Building Council

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to sustainable building design and construction. USGBC developed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) green building rating system and works to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work. 

 

Texas Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Program

The goal of the Texas HUB program is to encourage and effectively promote the use of minority and woman-owned businesses. The Texas Legislature requires all state agencies to make a good faith effort to assist HUBs in receiving a portion of the total procurement contract value of all contracts that the agency expects to award in a fiscal year.
