New ground-up hospital is located in Sachse, TX. Testing and balancing consisted of multiple 60+ ton air handling units with chilled and heating water coils serving approximately 200 air terminal units with hot water reheat, exhaust fans, and a central plant with 250-ton chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and boilers.
Scope of work included ensuring all pressure-sensitive rooms met the ventilation requirements for pressurization and minimum total air changes per hour.
Coordinated the test and balance with the general, mechanical, and controls contractors to meet the accelerated schedule without added overtime expense.
