Tarrant County College DistrictAnnual Fume Hood Certification RETURN

Annual inspection and certification of 130 fume hoods for all five Tarrant County College campuses. The certification includes measurement and adjustment of the hood face velocity at various hood sash heights ensuring face velocity requirements are met in addition to verifying the hood capture using smoke to visualize the airflow in the fume hood. To complete the process, we provide labeling of the maximum sash opening, and a certification sticker indicating to the user that the chemical fume hood is performing as expected.
